The funeral of Ayatollah Khamenei will take place in a few days, and I am sure it will be widely broadcast. In Iranian and Islamic culture, funeral ceremonies have always held deep emotional and spiritual significance. Saying farewell to a relative who has passed away due to illness is one thing; but when a leader is martyred assassinated by the worst individuals on the planet the matter is entirely different. Iranians have always stood by the oppressed in the face of injustice. Our Leader has been martyred along with members of his family his grandchild, daughter, son‑in‑law, and daughter‑in‑law. This act is a clear manifestation of oppression, and therefore, even more people will participate in the funeral procession. We see our Leader as a compassionate father, and now that he has been assassinated by tyrants, millions will take to the streets to express their gratitude, their anger, and their determination to seek retribution.
This farewell is not the end; rather, it is a new beginning, continuing the path that his successor has charted. Unlike ordinary funerals that allow people to express their emotions and then return to their daily lives, this funeral will pave the way for further uprising and awakening. People will use this opportunity to raise their voices in protest and show the world what has been done to them. America and Western countries including Britain, France, and Germany supported this assassination, while Iran stood firm as the only country defending itself.
From a historical perspective, in the Shia school of thought, our leaders and Imams were often martyred, and we were never able to hold funerals worthy of them. The only comparable case was the funeral of Imam Reza (peace be upon him), but even that ceremony was arranged by the very government that had martyred him. As Iran’s Vice President noted, this is likely the first time in Shia history that such a grand funeral is being held for a religious and political leader. Even at the time of Imam Khomeini, the country was only one year after the imposed war and was in a much weaker state, and the Resistance Front had not yet been formed. Now, the body of an Iranian leader is being taken to another country for funeral rites except for the case of General Qasem Soleimani, who was martyred in Iraq by America and Trump. So this is probably the first time that the body of an Iranian leader is being transferred to another country, and millions will attend that ceremony before the body returns to Mashhad for burial.
This event demonstrates the growing power of the followers of the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him), who are becoming increasingly independent and capable. This power does not mean greed; rather, following the Prophet brings a divine power that restrains worldliness and avarice and encourages helping other nations. The Zionist regime and America thought that by assassinating him, everything would come to an end. But his spirit remains alive, his guidance continues, and his pure blood has made Iran stronger than ever. More transformations are on the way not only in Iran, but across the world. Even now, we witness Iran’s unparalleled unity; when a reporter asked the Foreign Ministry spokesman about the presence of American troops on Iranian soil, he simply replied, “We are waiting for them.” This is the power of Iran united across all religious and political affiliations all thanks to the blood of Seyyed Ali Khamenei. This is only the beginning. The domino effect will follow, and its impacts will become evident in America, Britain, and other countries. His blood has accelerated the transfer of power from West to East, and this transformation will occur much sooner than expected.
